BR Pillow Project
The Wayde Sims Foundation delivered a truckload of pillows for the homeless to the Baton Rouge area Society of St. Vincent de Paul.

After leaving his high school graduation in 2016...
... Wayde encountered a homeless man with a sign reading, "Anything will help." Wayde rewarded him with his pillow that just happened to be in the car.
Remembering Wayde's gesture, the pillow donation experience was rebirthed by his "Nanny" in what would've been the 2nd Annual Wayde Sims Foundation raffle.
Upon purchasing raffle tickets, she wrote "BUY PILLOWS TO HOMELESS PEOPLE." Her ticket wasn't chosen as a winner. However, her suggestion to donate pillows in honor of Wayde was a victory in that the decision was made to help St. Vincent de Paul, a place where Wayne, Fay and Wayde had volunteered to serve Thanksgiving meals back in 2010.
