In July 2021, BREC's Sports Academy hosted the 2021 Hometown Heroes Youth Basketball Clinic, featuring over 20 former LSU and current NBA players.

The Wayde Sims Foundation was on hand to supply snowballs for all of the kids attending this fantastic youth basketball event.
